I've had a link to this (admittedly amazing) chart http://www.debeselis.net/img/kirciuotes.jpg for a while, and understand the upper part, but I have questions.

The main question is, how do I use the lower part of the chart that talks about the different accents? I've tried to figure it out, but there's just something fundamentally important that I'm not understanding.

For example, when stress changes syllables, does the lower part (somehow) explain what the changes are? Are specific accents always used for the same parts of speech, or is there a process you have to look at to be sure?

I think it explains what the changes can be (ergo, what the changes cannot be), but it does not always explain exactly what the change will be. If you get my drift, and if my drift is correct...

So in 2nd and 4th kirčiuotė there is only one possible jump the stress can make from the last syllable to the semi/last or vice versa. Also the pattern inside the circle tells you what stresses are possible.

Or did I understand you're question at all...

I think you understood it :) I was hoping the bottom half would magically help me stress nouns correctly.
