I wanted to see how well I could read aloud. So I took this text about Spanish language in lithuanian from wikipedia, and read it aloud.
Remember, don't be hard on me, because I didn't practice it, I mean, the first thing that came out of my mouth is what I recorded, AND I didn't understand it either.

Here it is a link to the file:

Paklausysiu namuose.
I'll listen to it at home.

Ar tik nesipuikuoji, Rodrigai, kai pagyriau, kad gerai kalbi? :)
Are you not posing, ascii, as I complemented that you speak well? :)

¬¬ No I don't want to impress anybody

The other day when I sent you the file, you were in a rush, and you just said that my -ai pronunciation had to be worked on.
Yesterday I was really bored, so I grabbed the mic, and recorded something. But what's the use if I don't get feedback, so I decided to post it here, not hoping for compliments, but for "toughts".
I want to see if I am understood, without having to follow what I'm saying in text, or what. Remember, this is the only way I can practice speaking, since this guy from Lietuvos Aidai seems to have vanished into thin air.

Hey, ascii!

I was curious to hear you reading aloud in Lithuanian;)
So I went to the site, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to listen to the track.
There's nothing to click on;)
Only some advertisements all around;)
Or is it only my awkwardness?

Tomas.

Its juts a free site to upload stuff. You have to go to like haf of the page. There it says: Download for free with FileFactory Basic
You click there and it takes you to another page. You scroll down a bit and enter de four characters verification code, and hit Continue.

Hey, ascii!

It was a lot of fun listening to you reading aloud the article 'apie ispanų kalbą'.

I think your pronunciation is really good, though I also found that the -ai ending needs some more practice;)
You see it's s diphthong, so I think you should disregard the orthography, the actual sound does not have much to do with 'a' + 'i'.

Apart from that, I think it's great;)
You really make an effort;)

Tomas.

I really loved the way you pronounce Lithuanian numbers;)))

Ok, for reasons of vanity, desire to help ascii, and just fun, I recorded myself reading the same wikipedia page. I read a bit fast, and made few mistakes, but I hope, that ascii will find it at least a bit helpful. Here is the file:

I will remove this file sooner or later. Imediately if ascii says that he does not like it :)

Thank you mpiktas. You did rush a lot in fact and sometimes it was even impossible to follow your words while reading the text, but thanks anyway. :D
