Hi,

I have a question regarding the word 'snowflake'. I found several words.

snaigė
snieguolė
snaiguolė

Are they all synonyms? Is one of them more common than the rest? I'm guessing 'snaigė', but do the other two convey the same meaning?

Snieguolė tai yra pavasario gėlė po sniego danga.

Snaigė, snaiguolė - a snowflake.

Manau, kad šitas žodis snaigė anksčiau buvo būdvardžiu, pavyzdžiui, snaigus, jeigu pažiūrėti dar kartą lietuvių kalbos gramatiką, kur mes galime rasti tokį žodį pavyzdžiai:

gražus -> gražuolis, gražuolė
jaunus -> jaunuolis, jaunuolė

O kodėl tam žodžiui snaiguolė evolucija pasitaikė turėti kitą formą snaigė, nežinau.
