Every Lithuanian to English dictionary I have seen is aimed at a native Lithuanian speaker. For a native English speaker it would be nice to find one that has explanations of different translations and grammatical information in English, separate entries for irregular word forms (for example, the principal parts of irregular verbs) and accent/intonation of entries and derivatives. Does such a dictionary exist?

I don't know about any. The best dictionary I've seen so far is Tildes Biuras.

"Anglonas" (digital dictionary) is not bad. It's without a doubt made for lithuanians learning english, but nonetheless it is has quite a large amount of common lithuanian phrases and is quite useful for an english-speaker learning lithuanian. For accentuation and verb irregularities I use http://www.lkz.lt/startas.htm ... although it is a purely lithuanian dictionary, it shows how verbs are conjugated and stressed. Those two in conjunction prove to be pretty powerful.

I checked out that link. Just out of curiosity, I entered one of the "forbidden" words that my teacher had told me about, that never show up in dictionaries because they are not "good Lithuanian." It was listed! I will check this out further for some of the other words that don't show up in dictionaries. Thanks!
